Democrats Control American Senate!

Whipping votes in Virginia, the Democrats win control of the Senate from Republicans with their victory in that state. Reuters and AP report this victory, while CNN is working to confirm. I said earlier on Newsnight blog to Gavin Esler, his readers and commentators that Jim Webb will whip the votes; and people are waiting to say farewell to the Republicans after those salty years for both Americans and the underveloped world. However, news said Democrats won over key swing voters on domestic issues as BBC puts it.

Why China is so interested in Africa?

Why a revolutionary communist government opens economical relations even with those African dictators in the continent?

I am getting more interested in reading the Chinese point of view, to know exactly why the political attitudes of China are ignored or passed by for the sake of economical interests.

Why Dictators Confront Each Others?

Chad's dictatorial coup d'etat regime accused the Sudan's dictatorial coup d'etat regime of supporting Chadian rebels to overthrow Adris Debby's government in N'djamena this week.

The second dictatorial regime had played a supportive role and assisted the Chadian dictatorial regime maintain its dictatorial ruling system. So, what has happened to change the ties between those allied militants?

Darfur is the answer.

The Chadian dictatorial regime is the main player in the rebel in Darfur. And of course neither Libya nor France is a witness. The problem of Darfur has so many roots and reasons in a very cloudy area, where the chaos is inevitable.

RC Products of the Dictatorship's Industry!

Refugee children - Let children know about this issue; especially where they see some refugee children in their surroundings. Children will gradually develop a kind of sympathy over all kinds of miseries children face elsewhere. So, help them learn to develop this human current naturally! This will leach the psychological borders. Khalid Osman says!

Global knowledge is better for young children, such as those who can read and understand something when told and explained in simple ways!

You'll create a sense and feed your child feeling positively to feel others' pain. Let this berceuse be a grass-root to humankind progress that grows natural! This is Khalid Osman's species of advice.

Why the Media Reports Wrong?

Unfortunately, the world does not understand the problems in Darfur. People should know more than the pictures are saying. These pictures are similar to so many picks from other countries in our misfortunate continent.

This problem in Sudan like the other marginal regions problems is created by two kinds of dictatorship in Sudan. Those two kinds of dictatorship are the civil dictatorship and the military dictatorship. The people of Darfur are Muslims but that's not the case. The problem has begun when both the civil dictatorship and the military dictatorship supported the armed robbery gangs.

Some of those gangs have been developed to form political armed fronts. Some of the neighbours of Sudan played also the negative role to export their problems to Sudan through the marginal regions of Sudan like Darfur.

I say some of them are not pleased to see these million square miles united under a strong democratic government. So, the problem has been exploited further to say there's a tribal cleansing in Sudan which is not true as stated above. And I know, from my own political experiences, as a journalist for more than 30 years, those who would like to see the big Sudan divided between them.

We have got some big zones of the Fur inhabitants in so many northern cities and they're living nicely with their brothers from other regions. From my own experience while I was a child one of the Fur was living just next to my father's shop. And my father left him so many times to observe his shop while he was shopping in the big market. They were friends. They trusted each other. They ate together, played local domino together with other Fur and enjoyed their time visiting each other on the two Eids as Muslims.

If you look again to these pictures of the ladies, men and their children, from Darfur, make sure that they look like other Sudanese from the north or from the east. We're all black people. The northerners are not coming from Mars.

I am saying again the problem has been created by those two kinds of dictatorship. They have created the marginal regions, robbed the national treasury and left us to the dust in the north, west, east and south.

So, the media is wrong when it speaks about cleansing and it's biased sometimes.

Nothing is Optimistic in Somalia!

... and it'll keep on like this for a long time before the Somalis put their arms down to realize what modern democratic government requires.

Some of the Somali people are very loyal to their cultural backgrounds and tribalism is strong. The fall of the dictator Siad Barry (Maxamed Siyaad Barre) and the political gap that followed led considerable numbers of the Somali people to think only about spiritual solution through religion.

Pragmatism is unknown, and rationality is missing through the network of the warlords and those new Islamists. They think the problem will be solved by religious means.

I believe that religion to be the cause of the deterioration. We have evidences from different parts of the world that where religion, any religion engages in politics, crises will rise. It's well known that if any state wants to progress well and save its integrity, it should regulate all religions living there but without having them to interfere in politics.

That means secularism is better for Somalia as I hear from modernized well educated Somalis I know.

And if they started to prevent women from work at their controlled areas, or if they began to enforce some religious regulations, then the Somali people will begin to face human abuses in the near future. The human rights organizations must be well concerned by now.

Condemn Shooting Humanity!

Shooting a human aid activist should get into an international jurisdiction to implement the hard punishment against those who commit such crime. This procedure should be taken into consideration when any state loses control of its democratic system and exposes to rambling and total disorder. The Somali case is not exceptional. It needs a strong power to implement justice. The mistake of the American policy in Mogadishu is that it left Somalia naked in front of the bad winds.

Asmara, My Destiny!

While the immigration authority in Eritrea tried to block me denying the UNHCR's leaving visa processing to Denmark, one of the officials asked me: "What we have done wrong with you, so you decided to leave us after ten years."

Highlight about the official:

The official was one of those best Eritrean veterans the EPLF has ever had. I know him since the first day he joined the field, and then came to work in the Tigrinya section of the official newspaper before being an officer in the immigration department.

I respect him in fact very much, because he worked at that time hard while he was a disabled veteran, and he never asked to live like those high staffs in the government.

We’ve some common free-time hobbies, as I used to play BINGO 5 times/week at his Disabled Fighters Club, the Association of Eritrean Teachers and Mahmud something, an old private bingo organizer in Asmara.

He played to enjoy time with friends, support his club and the teachers' club and win some money to spend with his friends on other beautiful Asmara-evenings' hail-hops. I used to call those special bars hail-hops, because they were very inviting, warm and has real feelings. That was a silly decision blocking most of them specially those were near the government building, just by the corners.

So, if you ever meet a friend or acquaintance there, expect to go home full with both pleasure and peace without paying a penny. I paid a lot of money celebrating friendship and the real revolution there and received many greetings too.

I think now; yes absolutely now while you're reading this line, and since I am very near to your eyes and mind, bowing to whisper it: I think that was Aden Paradise not Asmara!

Everything has changed when the Sudanese opposition entered this Paradise.

Well, getting back to my point, …

About the US Secretary of State!

The CNN asked three questions about some political issues in the Situation Room. One of those questions is the following one:

How much faith do you have in Secy. of State Condoleezza Rice to handle the crisis in the Middle East?

I've answered this question as follows:

I don't have any faith on her to come with a positive solution to the crisis, because she already has a one sided point of view on the struggle in the Middle East which laid its shadow on the Israeli side.

The crisis needs a neutral minded person to handle this issue with the neutrality needed.

The question is how the International policy and especially the US policy in the Middle East are backing Hezbollah from a point that Washington doesn't see?

Just remember who has backed Saddam Husain and Osama bin Laden and those Islamic rightist parties in the Middle East to face the growing socialist and communist parties there during the Cold War!

We're missing rationality nowadays!

Somali Peace Talks in Sudan!

That is a real tragicomedy we're reading this moment in the BBC online news about the Somali peace talks in Sudan.

See who's there to host a Somali peace talk! They're the Sudanese dictators. Those military dictators have stolen the political power through the 1989 coup d' état planned that time and carried out by the Sudanese National Islamic Front.

I don't know until this moment why the Somalia's interim President Abdullahi Yusuf has dropped his opposition to talks in Khartoum the capital city of Sudan with the Somalis Islamist leaders after having him refused these talks lately?

The Somalis President boycotted talks with the Union of Islamic Courts the first time because he accused them of breaking a previously agreed ceasefire. So, what has happened now after those so called Islamists controlled the Somalis Capital of Mogadishu to make him change his opposition to peace talks?

What's the deal? What's the benefit the Somalis will gain? And how could the president of Somalia accept peace talks brokered by the originally Islamist militants dictators in Khartoum to deal with a conflict led by another Islamist group in Somalia?

I think I have mentioned that it's tragicomedy!

Religions have nothing to do with the state!

The Cartoons have nothing to do with freedom of speech. Those prophets are making a wide range of followers worldwide and they should be respected. We need to be more tolerant and rationale when we deal with religions because violence is not a habit in religions unless people mistakenly interpret some verses according to their limited images. The nature of any religion is love, freedom and peace; not hatred or war.

These acts we're seeing today from those who call themselves Muslims are not acceptable and have no sense. All people know that the religion will not be acceptable if it builds on hatred, so how could such Muslims if they're really Muslims do this? We should remember here also the reign of the Christian wars. Should we blame the Bible or Jesus?

Religion in my vision has nothing to do with politics. There should be a clear division between religions and politics. If anyone wants to practise a religion she/he should go to where religions should be practised and that’s to be said will be in a church, a mosque or a temple.

Message for Peace and Harmony!

I have referred to this message as an email spam at this spam and scams alerts blog at http://no-way-to-spam.blogspot.com/2006/07/message-for-peace-and-harmony.html This is necessary to mention it's spam, but I found it interesting and wonder why the spammer didn't submit this as an article since he knows absolutely of all those blogs I am publishing, instead of sending it as spam?

Dear brothers & sisters,

We all need to pray for one another, and to love one another. We should always pray for the safety, peace, love and brotherhood for people all over the world.

Too bad we can't have an independence day for the entire world. A day of freedom from ignorance, hatred, war, illusions, power and control. A day where we can all love each other as human beings and toss away the weapons of war, and cast out our fears and hatreds from our hearts into the graves. We must mourn the graves of the innocents all over the world, and give the children of the world the hope of a peaceful, loving and beautiful world.

A world full of love and without hatred or fear. A world where we can join hands together and accept one another, regardless of our skin color, ethnic divisions, religion or nationality. If we don't unite as a human race, then we have condemned the future generation of children a dark and very grim future.

Think of love, compassion and peace always...

MY PRAYER FOR PEACE AND HARMONY

Merciful God, You made all of the people of the world in Your own image and placed before us the pathway of salvation through different Preachers who claimed to have been Your Saints and Prophets. But, the contradictions (made by us) in the interpretation of Your teachings have resulted in creating divisions, faith based hatreds and bloodshed in the world community. Millions of innocent men, women and children have so far been brutally killed by the militants of several religions who have been committing horrifying crimes against humanity and millions more would not be butchered by them in the future, if You guide and help us find ways to reunite peacefully.

IN THE NAME OF GOD, THE COMPASSIONATE, THE MERCIFUL,

Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the controversial teachings of arrogance, divisions and hatreds which have badly infected our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; reunite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish Your purposes on earth; that, in Your good time, all nations and races could jointly serve You in justice, peace and harmony. Somalis Islamist Militias are An American Industry!

The American policy in Somalia represents the wrong example of a moderated political influence in a very alarming and intensive area of disorder. The mistakes and errors which follow this policy are resulting in the recent political situation in Mogadishu.

Those who make this policy don't know Somalis! Misunderstanding people nature is very alarming when dealing with such issue in complete ignorance. When any people see their country exposed to foreign troops, those people will never be pleased by such acts, but they will definitely nurture their hatred to the Americans, nevertheless the Americans have nothing to do with their government’s interfering in Somalia.

Some Somalis were very pleased with the results of the September 11 disastrous acts in America. Who's there to blame them for their feelings since this was the first natural reacts to the American interference in their land?

Now could the American Administration see the full scope!

Rationality says people should never hate other people and that's quite correct. Those who create hatred and hate each others should take a deep look to what hatred produces!

If there's any rationality in the American policy towards Somalia, the American Administration should be aware of the negatives of its acts in Somalia. Unfortunately they're making the strength of those so called Islamist militias in Somalia in the White House!

Victims of Torture International Day!

This document at the Newsvine brings my attention to the Sudanese Victims of Torture. Under alleged deceitful Islamic propaganda, the recent dictatorial regime in Sudan conducted different kinds of torture against hundreds of Sudanese people during the first five years in power. People from different walks of life are still suffering from different kinds of continuous torture against them.

The term of Torture had never been presented in Sudan before those three dictatorial regimes in 1959, 1969 and 1989. This is why I am calling for submitting those dictators to the International Criminal Court since 2001.

I would like to bring the attention of those UN organs, to investigate the cases of the Sudanese Victims of Torture. Just ask the Secretary General of the Sudan Human Rights Organization. More at NIF| ICC| Indictment|Human Rights in Danish| Brigadier-Mohammed Ahmed Alrayah| Tortur| Ghost Houses|

Who's to Blame?!

US said Sheikh Aweys who headed previously al-Itihaad al-Islamiya militia in Somalia had links with al-Qaeda. See Hoa News Agency at http://hoa-news-agency.blogspot.com

There is a thread missed intentionally in such claims. This thread belongs to the American foreign policy during the Cold War.

Nowadays any critique to the American international policy towards the 3rd World will be claimed as to be against the American people, which is not true. No one will ever hate the people in any land.

That's simply because no one will be pleased of the killings of the American soldiers in Iraq for example. That's absolutely nonsense, as no one will be pleased of the killings of the Iraqi people.

Now, there's no question about who's to blame? - The official American policy twords the 3rd World? - Bush administration? - John Kennedy? - Ronald Reagan? - Joseph Stalin? - Mikhail Gorbachev? - Saddam Hussein? or some other leaders we don't know?

The most important question is that - is it the intention of the American Administration to "chess-king" the Red Sea area too, considering those wars in Somalia, Sudan, and between Ethiopia and Eritrea?

Sudan and Chad New Political Tragicomedy!

One more time I should say again, what we're experiencing in Africa is tragicomedy! Rebels create rebels. Military dictators create more military dictators in their neighbourhood. And the play goes on.

It's too comic to the standard of the misery or the standard of the chaos to see allied coups leaders in neighbouring countries accusing each other of exporting their political problems to the other countries.

The Sudanese Dictators who succeeded in creating the Patriotic Salvation Movement in Khartoum to overthrow the Chadian President Hussein Habre are now getting the worse results of their act from those who have created and supported 16 years ago.

This is also true to mention again that some neighboring countries to Sudan dislike seeing these million square miles united and strong. Terrible Reforms!

Demonstrations are planned to take over on the coming days of May against the coming Reforms of the ruling party in Denmark. Leaders from some popular organizations and unions criticize the reforms and refer to it as destructive form of slavery. The bad reforms are intended to humiliate the refugees and other foreigners who are living in Denmark. Everybody knows that when any government talks about reforms, then these reforms should be planned to improve the life, not to downtrodden any minority. The UN Should Observe the Negative Changes in Denmark!

This is Not Integration but Inflation!

Since the “Venstre” party won the 2001 elections in Denmark, the party has intended to make this well known paradise to the foreigners a piece of hell.

The party uses its mechanical majority in coordination with too other capitalist parties in the Parliament to change all the laws in the land that were made during the reign of the Social Democratic party.

During its two terms in power the party has succeeded to change some laws which affected not only the foreigners but the Danish people too.

Yes, the Danish people are very tolerant than to make riots. But the situation is really getting worse, to the standard that demands a UN observation.

Some parties in the opposition say that they're coming now to the worst period in the Danish history since the Second World War.

The most big "3F" Unions alerted their members and they're leading a national campaign against the last suggestions the ruling party has tailored to change and implement new laws against the foreigners.

... to be continued.

Note to all 15.680 members of my lists: If you're on one of these lists, regardless to where you're living, please send this page to friends using the link above. Just click on the headline. You can do a search for UNIONS and parties in Denmark using the same link to find and read more information. Salt Reforms!

Governments should take care when they are about to touch the welfare sector. That is actually because that sector though it belongs to the general sector, but it doesn’t belong to the government, though the government might have been the one that created it.

If any reforms are sought, then these reforms should confirm that sector must be maintained not flashed. I have written something about this in Danish at http://nice-kids-fun.blogspot.com/

It seems that some governments are good only when they are about to go for a second term, so they can easily issue promises to maintain this sector. But when they win the elections, they can easily forget their promises.

Wise governments can only say for example they will make reforms to this sector or that, but they’ll not go for deep details about these reforms. So, they’re very well at misleading their public.

Before the Venstre party of Denmark came to the government I’d an interview about my long experiences in so many countries with a very intelligent and active journalist in Dagbladet. I was only 8 months in Denmark that time and it was the time for the elections. I asked the journalist about who will win the elections, but she answered me by a question about WHO I thought.

I said without hesitation that the Venstre Party will succeed and come after the Social Democrats.

She asked me why? So, I told her that because of some International changes, especially in America; and that Bush was coming there too, and that the Social Democrats were becoming OLD.

Oh, my goodness! I was not predicting. But when I get back to this memorial I know very well this is still to be journalisms' sixth sense.

USA Calls for Political Resolution in Ethiopia!

The American Administration has committed to bring the Ethiopian Government and Opposition together, News sources said this week. IRIN reported from Addis Ababa on the 7th of April that the USA called the Government in Addis Ababa and the Opposition to stop the current tension between them.

Vicki Huddleston, the US charge d'Affairs to Ethiopia, said on Thursday the ruling party and the opposition should move forward to bring about lasting stability to the disrupted country after months of resettlement, violence and state imposed jurisdictions against opposition.

Huddleston called for “democratising the political process in Ethiopia” while praised the government's decision to accept the opposition Coalition for Unity and Democracy as a legal party.

She said "The Coalition for Unity and Democracy - the major opposition party, which won all the seats of the City Council - needs to take over the responsibility of administering the capital, Addis Ababa, and all voices need to be heard in the country's parliament,".

Huddleston urged the government in Addis Ababa to fuel the ongoing trial of 111 opposition party leaders, members and journalists. Those detainees are currently facing charges of attempted genocide and treason stemming from mass demonstrations against the May 2005 parliamentary elections. Security forces should refrain from taking unnecessary measures in handling protests, she said.

The Art of Prime Ministering

A while back ago we'd a prime minister in Sudan who thought that he has been born a prime minister.

It's absolutely his rights to feel that he has born with a "prime ministering" spoon in his mouth.

But, it's my rights too as a journalist and observer to say the "prime ministering" art is made easy to be obtained by democratic elections and to protect the democracy from being stolen by the soldiers in the army.

Unfortunately that prime minister has been the cause of the army coup d'etat which brought the recent unauthorized government to the governing deck. And he proves that he has no luck of this simple little thing I call the "art of prime ministering".

Cartoons' Tragedy!

I presume that the journalist, who has portrayed the Prophet Muhammad with a bomb in his turban, in the Danish "Jyllands-Posten" newspaper in last September, knows nothing about the Islamic tradition which explicitly prohibits any depiction of Allah or the Prophet.

The journalist doesn't have a clue to any Oriental culture. This could possibly be one of the journalism's profession defects in Denmark which represents journalists without global cultural backgrounds.

Some other people in Denmark don't take any religion seriously and they can make anything like the cartoons and say "det er kun for sjovt" which means "it's only for fun".

The Danish people in general are not so much religious and they don't care about any portray of any prophet; and some artists who are working on this field of creation can make fun out of any character according to their freedom of expression.

This FACT is absent in the Muslim World.

Some other people could possibly exploit this opportunity to disturb the World by connecting the terrorists' actions to the Prophet.
