Marginal Marketers!

Marginal marketers/sellers in the Sudanese local market places are struggling against odds.

In a new report issued from the Sudanese political capital city of Khartoum, the Integrated Regional Information Network (IRIN) says "Women tea sellers struggle against odds, although the Sudanese people are supportive and sympathetic to the women who have had to take to selling tea on the streets".

The report indicates that "Most of them are internally displaced people, uprooted from their home areas by Sudan's civil wars. Some are refugees from neighbouring war-torn countries, while others have been divorced or widowed and, due to lack of education, have no other means of fending for their children".

Marginal markets in Sudan are spreading in so many areas. Sellers in those markets came from different Sudanese origins, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Chad and Even Nigerian origins.

Those marginal markets has been established as a result of the severe economical situations inforced in the country by three military dictatorial regimes in (1959-1964), (1969-1985) and (1989- up to this moment).

When the last military-religious-dictatorial regime banned the press among which my office was a target, I fled to the eastern Sudan where I engaged for a while dealing in one of those marginal markets.

Professionals got the deal in marginal marketing because of such "harassment" each time their freedom is confiscated.

Why Sudan Gov Has No Credibility?

Why the.. well let's say only, the developed National Islamic Front's(NIF's) coup d'etat government in Sudan has no credibility?

Well, because they bring the situation to the late 1989 Peace Agreement brought to the country from Addis Ababa by the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) although they had refused that Peace Agreement. The outcome of Peace (was,is, and will be) the same, if they really meant peace, brought by them or other party!

They'd been brought to power when the National Islamic Front (NIF) used its wing in the military to overthrow the so called democratic government leaded by Umma Party's Sadiq El-Mahadi. At that time they were well represented in the parliament as a third party in the legislative power.

But they'd protested and plotted against that peace agreement and even against the parliament. One of their plots led them to power through their coup d'etat in 1989. That coup d'etat was planned exactly to topple the peace agreement brought by El-Merghani, the spiritual leader of (DUP).

So, what are the differences now? See here Sudanese Dictatorial Regimes.

Our Blogging Philosophy

This artsublog blog is not created to entice anybody or any political power. However, the blog stands strong against dictators and odd people in decision-making circles. It is a fact that some democracies are not more than false democracies. Some people we know in Europe practice politics as aristocratic way of thinking or a propaganda that says: Yes, we have democracy. That kind of democracy is cliché of democracy but not the right one.

Not withstanding this clarification of our thoughts we want to bring your attention to writing political articles on this blog or commenting on those hot lines.

We encourage you at the same time to send us arts too. This makes political content warm. Any kind of arts, like painting, sculpture works in photos, any design and animation, any opera and theatrical work in photos and so. Do not forget any other electronically work in pictures.
